Read the 0% carefully, because the headline version is misleading everywhere. Marketplace tools take 0% on your own direct bookings too; their fees apply only to the marketplace listings you switch on. The real difference is that with Skedful there is no path where a booking costs you a percentage, because no such mechanism exists. The trade is that we do not run a marketplace, so we will not hand you new clients the way a directory does. Your bookings come from your own link, your site and your socials.

Does Skedful take a percentage of payments?
Skedful takes no percentage of the payment. Your merchant provider still charges its own processing fees. Deposits and payment requests are available on Pro and Studio with a supported provider and the Payments module enabled.
Can I require a deposit to book?
Yes, on Pro or Studio, with a supported merchant account connected and Payments enabled. Set the deposit per service. Turning Payments off stops collecting deposits even if a service still has a deposit requirement; booking itself can continue.
Do you have a marketplace that brings new clients?
No, and that is the honest trade for taking no commission. We do not run a directory, so we will not hand you new clients the way a marketplace does. Your bookings come from your booking link, your website and your social profiles, and your page never lists the competitor down the street beside you.
