REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

Last updated September 30, 2026

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to subscriptions to Skedful ("we," "us," "our"), the scheduling and business management platform available at https://skedful.com and https://app.skedful.com. It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms & Conditions.

Merchant of record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment receipts, invoices and billing correspondence come from Paddle. Refunds are issued by Paddle to the original payment method.

Free trial

Every plan begins with a 30-day free trial. No payment card is required to start the trial, and no charge is made during it. If you do not subscribe before the trial ends, your account simply stops billing — there is nothing to cancel and nothing to refund.

Subscriptions and billing

Skedful is sold as a subscription billed in advance on a recurring basis:

  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.
  • The price and billing interval shown at checkout are the price and interval charged.
  • Applicable taxes (such as VAT) are calculated and added by Paddle at checkout based on your location.

Cancelling your subscription

You may cancel at any time, for any reason, without contacting us:

  1. Sign in at https://app.skedful.com.
  2. Go to Settings → Billing.
  3. Select Cancel subscription.

For a monthly plan, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current monthly billing period. You keep full access until that date and are not billed again. A monthly billing period that has started is not refundable under Skedful's ordinary policy, even if you cancel on its first day, subject to applicable law and Paddle's refund policy.

For an annual plan, the cancellation screen shows the refund amount and access-end date before you confirm. Annual plans are prepaid for 12 months. We re-price every month that has started, including a partial month, at the standard monthly list rate that was in effect when you purchased the annual term, without the annual discount. We subtract that amount from what you actually paid, with the result never falling below zero.

  • If a refund remains, you keep access through the end of the current month already counted in the calculation. Access then ends and the unused balance is refunded.
  • If no refund remains, no further amount is owed by either side and you keep access through the end of the prepaid annual term.

Calculation example, not current plan pricing: If the monthly list rate was $100 and you prepaid $1,080 for 12 months with a 10% annual discount, cancelling after 14 days counts as one started month. The contractual refund is $1,080 minus $100, or $980; access remains through the end of that first subscription month. This example excludes taxes and any separate adjustment required by applicable law or Paddle's policy.

You can also cancel by emailing contact@skedful.com from the address on your account. Paddle's buyer portal, linked from any Paddle receipt, can stop renewal at the end of the current term. For an annual mid-term refund calculation, use Skedful's billing settings or email us; cancelling only in Paddle's portal does not start that calculation.

Refunds

Every plan includes a 30-day free trial with no payment card required, so you can evaluate Skedful in full before any charge is made. Because of that trial, we do not operate a separate money-back period on monthly charges made after it.

Annual-plan cancellations follow the calculation above. Skedful arranges the refund through Paddle, and Paddle returns an approved refund to the original payment method. This contractual annual-plan policy is additional to Paddle's Refund Policy and any mandatory rights that apply to you. If either provides greater protection, that greater protection applies.

We consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis and will generally issue a refund where:

  • A billing error occurred, such as a duplicate charge or a charge after a valid cancellation.
  • A prolonged service failure prevented you from using the service.
  • Applicable law entitles you to a refund.

Outside the annual-plan calculation, we generally do not refund:

  • Periods you had access to the service, where the service was operating normally.
  • Renewal charges where the renewal date was disclosed in advance and cancellation was available.

Nothing in this policy limits any statutory right you have under the consumer protection law that applies to you, including any statutory right of withdrawal. Where a mandatory legal right conflicts with this policy, that legal right prevails.

Downgrades

Moving to a lower-priced plan takes effect at your next renewal date. Your current plan and its features remain available until then, and the lower price applies from the next billing period onward. Downgrades do not generate a refund for the current period.

How to request a refund

For an annual-plan cancellation, use Settings → Billing → Cancel subscription to review the exact refund and access-end date before confirming.

For another refund request, email contact@skedful.com from the email address on your account, including the approximate charge date. You may also contact Paddle directly, as Merchant of Record, at paddle.net.

We aim to respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Your bank or payment provider determines how long the funds take to appear.

Deleting your account and data

Cancelling a subscription stops billing but does not by itself erase your data. Studio accounts without an active paid subscription may be deleted after six calendar months of inactivity, following an email warning at least 30 days before the scheduled permanent-deletion date. See our Privacy Policy for this retention policy. To request deletion, see Delete your data or contact us at privacy@skedful.com. Tax documents and signed consent evidence survive account deletion under the protected-record policy described in the Privacy Policy.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version, and the version in effect at the time of your purchase governs that purchase.
